O Eisner Awards 2025 revelou os indicados às 32 categorias do prêmio, nesta quinta-feira (15). São mais de 150 títulos impressos e online, de cerca de 70 editoras, de acordo com dados da própria organização. Para serem elegíveis, todos os títulos precisavam ter sido publicados nos EUA ao longo de 2024. Neste ano, a editora com o maior número de indicações foi a Fantagraphics, seguida pela DC Comics e pela First Second/Macmillan.
O Brasil está representado por Bilquis Evely, que concorre na categoria Melhor Artista/Arte-finalista, e Melhor Capista, por “Helen de Wyndhorn”. Matheus Lopes também concorre como Melhor Colorista pela HQ publicada originalmente pela Dark Horse, com previsão de ser lançada no Brasil em julho pela Suma. A dupla ainda acumula mais uma categoria, a de Melhor Minissérie por “Helen de Wyndhorn”.
A lista de brasileiros fica completa com o colorista Frank Martin, que embora não tenha sido indicado a uma categoria específica, faz parte da equipe criativa de “Absolute Batman”, que concorre a Melhor Nova Série. O quadrinho será publicado no Brasil pela Panini, ainda sem previsão definida.
Tom King é o artista mais indicado, com quatro categorias, entre elas a de Melhor Roteirista. Já Emil Ferris, Leela Corman, Bilquis Evely, Ram V, LeUyen Pham, Javier Rodriguez, Olivier Schrauwen, James Tynion IV, Gene Luen Yang, e Quentin Zuttion acumulam três indicações cada.
A cerimônia de premiação acontece no dia 25 de julho, durante a programação da San Diego Comic Con.
